About the Greater Spokane Chapter of PRSA

Founded in 1980, the Greater Spokane Chapter of PRSA has served local public relations professionals with resources, networking, professional development and leadership opportunities for over 25 years.

The chapter attracts members from all over the region and provides an important link for local professionals to the national resources of PRSA.

The Greater Spokane Chapter has joint monthly meetings with the Spokane Public Relations Council and hosts many other events such as:

• our annual Day on the Job event
• an annual professional development workshop
• Accreditation in Public Relations
• study workshops
• a holiday social/fund-raiser for our student scholarship program
• and many locally held teleconferences at a discounted rate offered by PRSA National.

As well as offering professionals local networking, professional development and leadership opportunities, the Greater Spokane Chapter offers members an important link with the benefits of membership in national PRSA. Many local members take advantage of the national conference, access to national accreditation through the APR program, the national awards competition, and subscriptions to PRSA's publications and directories.
